The government’s website, Direct.gov.uk, has a guide to moving house, aimed at highlighting the Green issues you may wish to consider when choosing a new home.

These include the obvious aspects such as how close it is to your place of work, schools etc, to its energy rating, saving power, green gardening, and recycling your household waste.
