Eco-kettle on Ethical Superstore
Eco-kettles are a great idea. We all know that we should only boil the amount of water we actually need for our cup of tea but it can seem like a lot of fussing around and then, unless we have an old fashioned tea strainer to hand, we can be put off by the thought of a drink full of limescale bits from the bottom of the kettle.
Eco-kettles solve both these issues. First there’s no fussing around with cups because you just fill the kettle with as much water as you like and then press a button on the top to measure out how many cups of tea you want it to boil up for you, leaving the rest of the water unaffected. And it contains a washable limescale filter to spare you from any off-putting bits in your drink. Brilliant!
Being as you can pick up an ordinary kettle for around £5, only the price remains to potentially put people off but now there’s one available for less than £30 at £28.88 with a £3.95 delivery charge (though if you’re buying additional items that take your order total to over £40, delivery becomes free in mainland UK), and with the potential water and electricity savings (an estimated 30% power saving) it shouldn’t be too long before the kettle begins to pay for itself.
And if you prefer to buy through the Amazon UK website, you can by clicking here.
